On March 2nd, 2020, Seo-Yeon Kim gave her two weeks notice at her job as a web developer for a small IT company in Seoul, South Korea. Seo-Yeon is 27 years old and has been working full-time since she graduated from university with a degree in computer science.
Why would Seo-Yeon quit her well-paying, stable job? To follow her dream of becoming a professional photographer!
“I’ve always loved taking photos,” Seo-Yeon says, “Ever since I was a little girl, I would beg my parents to buy me a new camera every year. And now that I’m an adult, I realized that I don’t want to waste my life doing something that I don’t love.”
